App for anxiety and panic attacks

Your body is warning you. The problem is you don't know what it's saying.

Spoonies records what happens before, during and after an anxiety attack, and guides you step by step when it comes. So you can see the pattern that's impossible to see in the middle of an episode.

Founding price, for life, until the official launch

  1. Your heart is racing.

  2. You can't catch your breath.

  3. And you think this time it won't pass.

  4. You google your symptoms.

  5. And it all gets worse.

  6. Stop. Breathe.

  7. That's why there'sSpoonies

Chapter 02Sound familiar?

This might feel a little too familiar.

  • Fear01

“I thought I was going to die.”

The sense of danger was real. But it passed.

  • Body02

“I felt something in my body and thought something was very wrong.”

An intense sensation doesn't always tell the whole story.

  • Control03

“I started watching every single sensation.”

When you start monitoring every signal, you're also building a pattern.

  • Avoidance04

“I started avoiding things in case it happened again.”

What you avoid today can start deciding what you do tomorrow.

  • Anticipation05

“It wasn't happening anymore… But I kept waiting for it to come back.”

The fear of it coming back is also part of the process.

Chapter 03How it works

The symptom is not the problem.

It is the last sentence of a story that had been going on for a while.

  1. You pick how your day is going.

Morning, midday and night: full of energy, calm, on pause, tired or out of spoons. Whichever feels closest.

Spoonies: "How is your day going?", with five little faces: full of energy, calm, on pause, tired and out of spoons
  2. You log how you feel.

A one-minute check-in: how much anxiety you notice and what you notice first. There's no wrong answer.

Spoonies check-in: "How much anxiety right now?", with the slider at 6, strong, out of 10
  3. It guides you step by step, in the moment.

If your level is high, you go into SOS: guided breathing, posture, 5-4-3-2-1 grounding to come back to the present and releasing tension. One by one, no rush.

Spoonies SOS, step 1 of 5: guided breathing, with the little face showing "Exhale 7", slowly, longer than the breath in
  4. When it eases, you close the episode.

How you feel now and whether, now that it has passed, you see it differently. A few taps and the episode is complete.

Spoonies: "Now that it has eased", with how you feel now (exhausted, relieved, still tense, normal, low) and whether you see it differently now that it has passed
  5. And over time, you understand what triggers it.

Spoonies connects your check-ins and shows you what repeats most, at what time and on which day. What's impossible to see mid-crisis.

Your patterns in Spoonies: your saturation right now, what repeats most (racing heart, tight jaw, shortness of breath) and when and where (at night, on Sundays)

Chapter 04An ordinary day

What happens before almost never shows.

Mid-crisis you only see 17:20. Spoonies shows you what came before.

And every day, a little clearer.

Your mood for the week, how SOS tends to go for you and a streak that never punishes the bad days. This is how it looks in the app.

Your mood in Spoonies: your morning, midday and evening ball for the last 7 days, and how many episodes you have depending on how you start the day
During SOS: the first 10 minutes tend to be the hardest and by 20 you feel better, based on your answers to “How are you doing?”
Your badges: first day on pause, out of spoons acknowledged and three days in a row
Your streak: 12 days logging. A day without logging does not break it, and out-of-spoons days keep it
Your ball: it grows with the days you log each week (seed, sprout, growing, full) and never shrinks

Chapter 08Questions

What people ask us most

What is Spoonies?

Spoonies is an app for anxiety and panic attacks. It records what happens before, during and after each episode, guides you when anxiety rises and, over time, shows you the patterns that repeat.

What do I do with Spoonies during a panic attack?

Open SOS mode. It guides you step by step with guided breathing (inhale for 4 seconds, exhale for 6 to 8), a pause with a steady posture and grounding with the 5-4-3-2-1 technique. You can leave whenever you want.

Does Spoonies replace a psychologist?

No. Spoonies is an observation and journaling tool: it doesn't diagnose or replace assessment by a healthcare professional. It can help you bring clearer information about your episodes to your psychologist.

How does Spoonies detect my patterns?

From your check-ins. Each one stores how much anxiety you feel, what you notice first and the context. Spoonies matches them with the time and day and, if you turn it on, with your approximate area and the weather. If you fill in your profile, also with your sleep, caffeine and exercise. That is how it shows you what repeats before each episode.

How much does Spoonies cost?

Until 25 October 2026, the Founding price is €6 a month or €70 a year, for life. After that, €9 a month or €100 a year.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Your data is yours: we don't sell it or use it for advertising, and you can export it or delete your account from the app at any time.

Which phones does it work on?

iPhone and Android.
